WebManna - Ive heard from many different people that this site offers really fair prices for what they can give you, so if your looking for something with a budget to fit yours, try these guys out first and foremost. If your looking for a site online whether its a marketing site or a web design site, if they have a website that doesn’t look “nice” or the navigation bar, or page is either messed up with coding, or if it looks like its unfinished. Walk away. To me, if a site boasts its abilities with websites, but they cant even configure their own site correctly, its probably a sham.

Sometimes it takes a few tweaks here and there to get everything just right. You want people to love your site but you also want to appeal to Search Engines, don’t forget this! Search Engine Marketing Books

There’s a few thousand different books and e-books you can buy in stores either on or offline, or download online. I personally like e-books better because of their simplicity and price, which is usually free! And they are just like regular books. They are yours to keep and you can read them whenever you like. One of my favorite sites to go to is called Free-eBooks dot net. I go to this site for just about any e-book I’m looking for online. And all the books on this site are completely %100 free so you don’t even have to worry about prices. They offer just over 2 pages of Optimization books, an astonishing 20 pages of Marketing books. Of course there’s probably a mish mash between the two keywords but still, that’s a pretty good amount of FREE e-books to search for on this site. Some other really good sites you know you can count on for e-books is Amazon, Adobe, and PlanetPdf. Out of these selections Amazon offers a really large selection but of course most of the e-books on Amazon aren’t going to be free, but the rest will be.

The best two best stores in my opinion, offline, to get marketing books or any sort of search engine or optimization books is Barnes & Noble and Borders. The next time your in or around one of these two stores try searching in the Business or Internet/Computer section. If you cant find what your looking for, just ask!

Now on to the actual books. Which ones are highly recommended? Which ones are bombs? Well I suppose for a free e-book this doesn’t really matter as much, because it is free. But if your like me, and your the type of person that doesn’t like wasting precious time, then it does matter to a certain extent. Here’s some really GREAT books to get your hands on:

Out of these books Ive either heard good things from people Ive worked with, have read some of them myself, or they just received REALLY good reviews. I’m more of a “dummy” follower myself. Of course there’s a lot more books you could check out but this is just the jumping off point if you didn’t know where to start and with what books. Remember optimizing and marketing your site are two really important things when you have your own site. Marketing + Optimization = better chance of visitors. If no one knows about your site (marketing) or you don’t build your site on certain fundamentals you should be following, then most likely your not going to receive the amount of traffic you would really like. Even if your not selling anything per se, you still want visitors to your site! Example I have a Cooking website. I’m not necessarily selling anything on there (although i do have 2 affiliate programs) but I still want people to go to my site for the other things I have on their such as my CPM banners, feature blogs/posts, contextual ads etc. There’s no real point in having things on your site to make you money (either directly or indirectly) if you don’t have the traffic to back it up.

Take a site that optimizes and markets the “correct” way and another site that does none of this. Which one do you think is going to get the most visitors? Which site has the potential to make money? The one that’s more optimized and marketed definitely will! Go read the books and do the work that’s necessary for you to succeed. It may take some time but I guarantee if you take all the steps needed, you will get to where you want. Your site just as well could be a HUGE money maker! Good luck!

Search Engine Marketing Kits

If your new to the Search Engine Marketing club then there are ways you can learn HOW to go about this. You can find out what all these terms are, like for example, optimization, PPC, backlinks, etc. Of course you could just look online, but if your looking for the whole “package” so to speak, there is Search Engine Kits especially made for someone like you. These kits usually come with some sort of a price tag, but this would be a good thing to invest in. This way you wont be lost doing it by yourself, but you also wont have to hire someone every single time you need to optimize a website, or want to know about how to do this or that, etc.

Your best bet is to go to Google and search for “Search Engine Marketing Kits.” A zillion different results will come up, so who do you choose? Well if you know absolutely %100 nothing about this kind of stuff, sites like SitePoint and SEOBook wont make much of a difference to you. So instead I’m going to do you an easy favor and recommend one site, or rather one Author. By the way you can also find Search Engine Marketing “kits” in offline stores as well, try Barnes & Noble and either go to the business/Internet section or ask them for book about Search Engine Marketing. These probably wont be REAL kits per se. Instead they will be actual books, but still they will be loaded with a ton of valuable information. You will thank me later!

The main site I want to recommend is actually one of the ones I mentioned above, SitePoint. SitePoint is recommended by everyone so this was an easy target for THE best site to go to for Search Engine Marketing Kits The kit is made by author - writer extraordinaire, Dan Thies. The kit itself is almost $200 but you can bet its value in gold bars. I have no doubt in this whatsoever. Dan had an old version of the kit (that is probably less expensive) but the NEW updated version is the 2.0 one. Some of the things this kit includes:

Learn ways to maximize traffic
Keyword strategies
How to optimize and build links
Avoid getting banned from SEs
Create, Optimize and manage PPC campaigns

If your NOT completely sure about it he even has a nifty “sample” that’s free.

Now don’t fret, OK? If you cant afford that much or don’t want to buy something you cant physically get your hands on before you hand over the cable bill money, its alright. You can do this on your own, it will just take a lot more than a kit and a few DVDs to teach you. Search online or through articles about Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, SEO, SEM, Optimizing my site, etc. Your bound to find lots of FREE information from all sorts of people. Search out anything and anyone you can. Ive taught myself everything I know and it wasn’t exactly rocket science. You just need a little common sense and a lot of patience and determination! Don’t give up.. remember there is no real quick fix!

The Two Best Search Engine Submission Tools Online

Submitting your websites to search engines can be a little time consuming. Most people say you should only submit your sites to the TOP SEs like MSN, Yahoo! and Google. I never submit to JUST these sites. Sure they may be the top most important sites, but it never did anyone any harm submitting to other search engines as well. You can also pay someone to do this for you, but again, why pay when you can do it for free, and by using a software program at that?!? This process is very easy and uncomplicated. My favorite SEO software that Ive been using for many years is called WebCeo.

WebCeo has a multitude of different tool such as Keyword Research, Search Engine Optimization, Web Page Editor, Search Engine Submission, Rank Checker, FTP Uploader and on and on. Here are the highlights for the WebCeo tool (taken from their official site):

Okay so I’m a little biased because this is one Ive been using for as long as I can remember. But I promise you this is a great software program to try out. This is NOT a trial. It is %100 .. forever! The second Search Engine Submission tool Ive always liked is called EvrSoft, they also offer a multitude of different options and services and this is another one Ive tried out when I was trying to find a few really nice programs to keep, that worked good and were easy to use. It looks like they changed this site around a little bit, I don’t think you need to download “software” anymore. Everything is right on the web page. You just enter in all your info for the site you want to submit, and voila. Your done. Oh by the way EvrSoft submits your site(s) to over 100 search engines.

So if you want to use a program and have that on your computer, you can try WebCeo, if you don’t want to use up space and just want to try something out, try EvrSoft. Remember, most of the time you wont get results until 4+ weeks later! The time results wont matter if you do it by hand or by software. Its usually always somewhere around 4 weeks before you site shows up on the search engines. Well I hope you enjoyed this and I really hope you try one of the two of these companies out. I’m almost positive they will be your favorite sites as well as soon as you can see how well they work, and how genuinely easy it is to submit your sites with them.

SubmitExpress has been around since 1998 and is a site I really trust in. When I first started out online I had NO idea what SEO or SEM was and this was one of the very first companies I went to. Personally I think their prices are really fair for what they give you and their customer service is top notch!

InternetMarketPro’s website is a little plain but they offer a really good honest service that I would try again if I needed some extra help boosting my websites traffic rank. As far as I know they only specialize in SEO and Web design and development. So this is a small company but you know you wont get lost in the shuffle with the 50,000 other services they offer.

ClickResponse is my last “chosen” company. Ive never tried their SEO service but I have heard it was pretty good. The service I got from them was the Website Analysis which you can get pretty much anywhere but this site was recommended to me by someone I knew and their prices were also pretty fair for what they offered.

There’s many more sites out there that offer SEO and SEM services, have a look at a few the next time your searching on Google. Try keywords like “SEO Services”, “Search Engine Optimization Services” or “optimization services” and you will be bombarded with tons of them. Always remember to do your research on any site before you pick the chosen one!
